MORE: Corbett happily opens up about 'Beezus' and babies
The set seemed even more second-skin since it appeared to him that not one of the cast and crew had aged.
"To me, nobody really ages. I guess we all look different, but nobody really ages. Everyone really looks the same. Haircuts get longer and shorter, but it's weird to just pick up. You know, people have amazing memories and they'll ask a question surrounding some little incident that was happening 10 years ago and my mind works like that, too. I can ask about an apartment that somebody was looking at on the Upper West Side, and did that ever work out because I remember in September of 2000 they were checking it out."
Slipping into Aidan mode was also made even easier working with Parker, whom he calls "one of the dearest people I've ever met on this planet."
"When they say, 'Action,' looking in Sarah Jessica's eyes, we just kind of become Carrie and Aidan. It's weird. Then, they'll say, 'Cut!' and then we're back to ourselves. But when the action comes, I really am talking to Carrie and it's weird because Sarah Jessica's nowhere to be seen in those eyes for those moments."
When asked to describe the fashion icon/celeb mom/actress/producer, Corbett has more than enough adjectives for his friend.
"Hilarious. Sharp as a tack. Doesn't miss a thing. Almost has a set of eyes in the back of her head; just knows what's happening. She has some sort of super powers," he laughs. She's "very kind. ... I really, really love her."
