San Francisco Marathon 2010 on Sunday July 25

It’s Sunday July 25 and that means today sees the 32nd annual San Francisco Marathon, with a record 24,000 runners registered. San Francisco Marathon start of the race is on the Embarcadero, south of Mission St, and the race will be started in waves, the first runners leaving at 5:30 am.
The fastest will leave first and the last bunch to go will be leaving at 6:45 am. The course will be closed by 12:45 pm. According to News Provider the Marathon will tour through Embarcadero, Fisherman’s Wharf, and then onto the Golden Gate Bridge which the first runners will reach around 6:00 am. It will proceed to Marin County then turn and re-cross the Golden Gate Bridge.
