The Hand Of Henry-Corrigan Brothers & Pete Creighton

Song about Thierry's handball vs. Ireland

As Thierry Henry sets to embark on a new career with the Red Bulls in the United States, a musical video about his infamous handball during the World Cup qualifying is making its rounds.

The Corrigan Borthers, whose song the hit, "There's no one as Irish as Barack Obama," have come out with yet another song -- "Hand of Henry."

Henry handled the ball in front of the Ireland net, which led to the equalizing goal for France in its 1-1 draw that boosted the French into South Africa last year.

The hand of Henry
(words and music by Corrigan Brothers, Gerard,Brian and Donncha Corrigan)

the boys went to France and gave it their all
they fought like heroes to win every ball
and keano popped up to put us ahead
he scored with his foot let it be said

dunphy was praising the team for a change
and pigs were flying around him so strange
we missed a few sitters the play was sublime
and then we headed to extra time

we continued to play like brazil at their best
the fench boys were nervous this was a test
henri caught the ball and threw it in
the french went one up, now is that a sin

given was shocked by the french gaul
a blatant obvious cheating handball
the ref didn't care the Irish dismissed
sepp blatter was happy they Irish were pissed

henri then admitted " oi andled ze ball"
the ref said go way son i'm givin the goal
i'm warning you now mister henry
you are not the referee
