6 easy ways to stop your PC from harming your eyes

If you spend more than 2 hours a day in front of your computer, you have at least a 50-50 chance of experiencing vision problems in future.
In order to minimize this risk we made a list of things that will help you:
Adjust the angle of vision
We recommend a viewing distance from 40 to 70 cm (18-28 in.). Very important is the viewing angle: the top of the monitor should be slightly lower than eye level. Tilt the monitor up 10 to 20 degrees from vertical.
Have the proper lighting
Adjust the glare level. The office areas where PCs are used should have have half the level of lighting you would find in a standard office. Eliminate glare and harsh reflections.
Adjust the display's brightness and contrast
The higher you set the monitor's brightness, the quicker your eyes will give out.
Use the right size for your text
Find the smallest size font you can see on the monitor and multiply that size by three.
Take breaks
One way to give your eyes a break is to look away from the computer to a point far from your PC for at least 20 seconds. Repeat this exercise each hour. An alternative is to close your eyes at least once an hour for about 30 seconds.
Avoid Dry Eyes
Studies have shown that when you look at the computer monitor, there is a natural
tendency toward a reduced blink rate. Blink more often.
