But the boys have vowed that neither the Irish weather, nor Edward's knee injury, will stop them performing at a gig in New Ross this weekend. Organisers of the JFK Dunbrody Festival in Wexford were left panicking on July 4 when Edward tore a cruciate ligament during a performance in the UK.
Jedward was due to be the headline act, singing to 15,000 people at the open-air gig in New Ross Town Park tomorrow. But when news broke that Edward had been hurt, organisers received 700 emails from fans anxious to know if their appearance would be pulled.
But the fears were unfounded as Jedward confirmed last week that they would honour their commitment.
Along with the RTE documentary, provisionally titled 'Jedication', the twins feature in two more shows, 'Jedward: Home Alone' for UTV, and a second RTE series called 'Super Crew' which aims to find backing dancers for their live dates, all to be aired in the coming months.
