Asteroid 2010 GA6 Passes Near Earth! NASA Website

Yesterday the newly discovered Asteroid 2010 GA6 passed near the Earth at around 7:06 pm PDT according to information on NASA website. The closest it came to the Earth was about 270,000 miles. This is the second asteroid that passes near the Earth, the first one passed within 76,000 miles in January.
The NASA website often check asteroids that are coming near Earth to predict their route and assess if there will be a problem with the trajectory. The Asteroid 2010 GA6 had a reported width of 71 foot. Some people got the chance of seeing the asteroid pass Earth, as it was 16,000 miles closer than the Moon. If the asteroid would have hit the Earth, it could have caused devastation.
